You were surprised when you suddenly found Rivaille sitting next to you in the dining hall. The member's of the 104th trainee's group seem even more shocked, especially when he placed an arm around your shoulder and drew you closer to him, glaring daggers at everyone at the table, daring them to make a comment.
You couldn't help but blush a little at Rivaille's sudden display of affection. It was very unlike him. You were used to the Rivaille who would tentatively accept a kiss in the hallway or a cuddle at the dining table, but not anything outright such s this.
There was an awkward silence at the table as Sasha, Connie, Mikasa, Armin, and Eren and a few others digested the fact that your lover was so suddenly sitting beside you. heck, Eren actually looked minorly terrified as Rivaille's eyes landed on him.
It was Armin who spoke at last, clearing his throat and offering the Corporal a nervous smile. "Good evening, Corporal."
Rivaille simply nodded back at the blonde boy.
Armin took this as a sign to continue. he swallowed and laughed nervously. "It is unusual for you to be sitting here...-"
"Am I not allowed to sit next to my fiance?" Rivaille snapped.
The table went silent, and the tables nearby, overhearing Rivaille, went silent. The room was completely quiet, except for in the back at the squad leader's table, a certain Hanji was whispering: 'What? what happened? What's going on?" Erwin shushed her.
Then, everything went to hell.
"What?! When did this happen?"
"Congratulations!"
"Omigosh!"
"Really?!"
You blushed furiously, one hand clinging instinctively to Rivaille. The Corporal seemed amused by the ruckus, and by your embarrassment. You hid your face in Rivaille's sleeve, a bashful smile crawling across your lips.
The news must have gotten to Hanji on the other side of the room, because suddenly she was in front of you two, bent over the table. Her eyes sparkled a bit with madness and pure glee.
"You are letting me plan your wedding, right?"
You felt your face pale at the thought. Rivaille spoke for you:
"No."
Hanji's face dissolved into the look of a kicked puppy. You amended Rivaille's refusal. "You can help me pick out my gown, Hanji."
The Squad leader's face rose in happiness. "Yipee~!!" She shouted gleefully.
"Congratulations." A deep voice spoke behind you. You craned your neck, a smile erupting on your face when you recognized Erwin standing with a hand on Rivaille's shoulder.
"Thank you." You replied. You wish you could say more, but your eyes conveyed all that needed to be said. The Commander gazed down at you, a proud smile forming on his lips.
Except, count on Connie to ruin the moment.
"wait, wait, wait." The shorter boy said suddenly, bending over the table and examining you both. Even Rivaille seemed a bit surprised. "Does this mean that guys had s-" He was interrupted a hand suddenly clamped down on his mouth. Sasha dragged the boy back to his seat, whispering in his ear while blushing furiously. Whatever she said must have caught something in Connie, for he began blushing too.
"When is the date?" Christa asked, her eyes sparkling.
"In a month, about." You replied. "Give a week or two."
"That's wonderful!"
"Do you need bridemaids?"
"What are you going to do about your dress?'
"My Aunt is a seamstress!"
"Oooh, this is so exciting!"
You were drawn away from Rivaille into a small huddle of girl's all fawning and babbling excitedly about the wedding details. Likewise, Rivaille was become the center of attention at the opposite end of the table. His fellow soldiers clapped him on the back, much to his distaste. Someone suggested going out to get a beer.
"Excuse me, corporal."
And then suddenly, there was quiet.
You turned to find the source of the reaction, your eyes landing on a certain shaggy-haired soldier. Oh.
"Jean." You whispered inaudibly.
Rivaille stared blankly up at the soldier, and Jean stared ever so blankly back.
It made your heart hurt.
And then, you wanted to cry when Jean said: "Take care of her, and offered his hand to his superior.
Rivaille's face remained blank, and for a moment, he did nothing. You were afraid he would reject the poor boy, but instead he slowly grasped the soldier's hand and said in a soft voice: "I will."
You couldn't stop yourself from springing to your feet and planting a quick little peck on Jean's cheek, making him blush furiously.
"Thank you." You whispered softly in his ear.
"Y-your welcome." he replied, dazed.
"Does this mean Rivaille babies?" Hanji asked hopefully. Rivaille's eyebrow twitched in anger. You laughed nervously at Hanji's question.
"Zoe..." Mike began, cradling his brow between his fingers.
Hanji looked up. "Eh? What?"
Your gaze locked with Rivaille's His blank face distorted into a small, warm smile. You smiled back at him, and leaned down, placing a kiss on his lips, causing a riot in the room. You didn't care. You were in that moment, the happiest girl in the world.

snowflakes [levi x reader]
Snowflakes attacked the quiet city, overtaking local businesses and coating the asphalt street with several feet of virgin powder that felt soft underneath [First]'s fingertips as they glided down the railing of the wooden patio. The icy sting of the compacted flurries flowed throughout her hand, but no mind was paid to the feeling as she continued to draw patterns within the snow.
In the midst of carving hearts and letters into the alabaster grains, a gale of wind picked up, taking her hair into its grasp and whipping the locks around her face, obscuring her view of the white neighborhood, decorated with colorful Christmas d

What He Does, Part 2: RivaillexReader
Your eyes were cast down as you sorted through files in Rivaille’s office floor. You were alphabetizing and separating living from deceased then putting the ones that were still alive back in the file cabinet, the deceased were to be given to Commander Ivan.
Since you have been injured the night before Corporal had let you sleep in an hour and then put you in his office to do this. Hanji had, after all say to stay off your feet. Rivaille took this as you were dying and you couldn’t even be outside or alone for more than fifteen minutes at a time. Is it wasn’t always the corporal himself that came to check on you it was, at

He who is myself - Levi x Reader {Part 1 of 2}
As told by the Ancient Greeks, the first humans had four arms, four legs and a head consisting of two faces. Zeus, the great king of the gods, feared their power and so split the bodies, condemning them to search for their other halves to make their souls whole, for they were nothing without each other.
You smoothed out the crinkled paper, eager to read more. As a big romantic, you always fancied the idea of having soul mates; a person who filled in that missing piece of your heart and soul. Together, you were unstoppable. Of course, considering the circumstances, romance came around last on ‘Humanity’s Top Priorities’ list
