Today was the day, you thought to yourself as you woke up, a smile adorning your lips. For once your bed was empty save for yourself, Rivaille had slept apart from you last night, grudgingly obeying the rule of not seeing your bride the night before or the day of the ceremony.
Your hand reached to the empty part of the bed where he would usually be, lingering over the folded sheets there. Neat, and precise, as always.
you allowed yourself a few moments by yourself, relishing in the silent excitement that filled the morning.
However, your few moments were interrupted by a certain Squad leader, who came bursting in through your door.
"Goooooood Morning, sunshine!" She yelled, throwing up her arms. You could practically feel the excitement and happiness radiating from the half-crazed woman.
"Good morning, Hanji." You replied politely, rubbing the sleep from your eyes.
Hanji chuckled, resting her hands on her hips. "And what a good morning it is!" She replied, throwing her head back and laughing.
You rubbed your temples, in half annoyance. "You know what would make this morning better Hanji?" You asked delicately.
"Neh? What?"
You forced a smile. "If you could leave me so I could get dressed?"
Hanji's face was frozen in a smile for a few moments. You feared you had somehow caused her to pop a blood vessel or something. But she looked down at her feet quickly and excused herself, shutting the door behind her, leaving you alone once more.
You strectehd again, a smile gracing your lips, before you reached for your clothing, neatly folded by Rivaille himself on the bedstand. You were allowed not to dress in your regular military outfit today, instead adorning a simple skirt and blouse, plus a pair of boots. You quickly slipped on the clothing, tying the belt to the skirt snugly under your blouse.
You glanced down at your shoes, and gave a small sigh. Rivaille had taken to a strange habit of donning your shoes himself every morning, quietly slipping the boots up your calves and lacing them up your shins. The action always made you blush, and now you had to put them on yourself. You felt a little spoiled, honestly.
You opened up the door, startling Hanji a bit. "Ready." You announced, running a hand through your hair and untangling the knots.
"Excellent." Hanji smiled, grabbing your hand and beginning to drag you down the hallway. You passed a few soldiers, already up and about, all of which smiled back at you pleasantly.
"Let's get you breakfast, first." Hanji declared as you stumbled after her. "Fortunately, Cook has already made your breakfast."
"Well that's nice of-Waah!!" you yelped as the two of you rounded a corner, making you almost slam into the wall.
Hanji glanced back at you with a sheepish smile. "Hehehe, sorry about that. This is just so exciting!!"
The two of you ended up in Hanji's office, where you ate a bowl of, for once, warm oatmeal. Hanji was called out of the room for a few moments, so you had a enough time to collect your thoughts before she returned. You were getting married, to the man of your dreams, and you couldn't be any more nervous and excited.
Hanji returned, loaded down by a bouqet of flowers. "apparently Erwin got these for you." She laughed. "He wants you to hold them during the ceremony."
"Re-really?" You exclaimed. "That's incredibly sweet of him."
Hanji laughed. "You know he thinks of you like a daughter, ______."
You blushed. "That's not true..." You muttered, looking away and smiling.
"If you say so~" Hanji began to rummage through the supplies on her desk, advancing towards you with a hairbrush.
It abruptly occurred to you that you did not trust Hanji with your hair, or make-up for that matter. What if she tried to make you look like a titan?!
You raised your hands defensively. "Uh, Hanji, I just remembered I left something in my room. It's really important, can you go get it for me?"
Hanji stopped, the half crazed look in her eyes vanishing. "Sure! What is it?"
"A pin Rivaille gave me, It's a rose, and it's pink, and-"
"I shall find it!" Hanji screamed, dashing from the room. You allowed yourself a relieved sigh. You owned no such thing, but you would rather Hanji tear your room apart looking for it than subject yourself to her makeup expertise.
Now, just to find a replacement.
You wandered from the room, and into the cafeteria, where soldiers were just beginning to filter in for their morning meal. You found Christa and Ymir sitting together at a table, and you quietly slipped into a seat beside them.
Christa turned to you, her small gasp not goin unnoticed by Ymir. "_____!" She exclaimed. "What are you doing here? You are supposed to be getting ready!"
You made a face of distaste. "I didn;t want Hanji to do my make-up." You explained.
Ymir snorted with laughter.
Christa's face brightened, but she remained silent. "Then, can I....?"
You nodded, putting a hand over hers. "Would you, Christa? Please?"
Christa nodded eagerly. "Of course!" she reached across the table and grabbed Ymir's arm. "And Ymir can help too!"
"I can?" Ymir asked dubiously.
Christa nodded. "Now, let's get going, Heichou is probably going to be here any moment."
"Too late." Ymir said bluntly, pointing across the cafeteria towards the doorway. You turned to look, but Christ blocked your view. "No! You can't look!" she yelped, and tugged you to your feet. "And he can;t see you!" You were tugged towards the other exit, Ymir following behind.
You could practically feel his eyes on your back, and imagine the ever so slight smirk on his lips.
You smiled to yourself, a soft blush spreading across your face.

"You know if you continue lying on your back like that, you'll get in trouble."
Your caring friend Petra had caught you taking an idle nap when you were supposed to be cleaning, snoring soundly. You admit to doing such an act, explaining that the winter breeze made you sleepy. Now you were debating with yourself whether or not should you lie down for five more minutes, or to deem Petra correct. If Levi were to catch you like this, god knows what kind of heavy punishment he has in store for you.
Rendered defeated, you swung your feet to the ground and rose from your sitting position, lifting your hands above your head for a long stretch. You

He who is myself - Levi x Reader {Part 1 of 2}
As told by the Ancient Greeks, the first humans had four arms, four legs and a head consisting of two faces. Zeus, the great king of the gods, feared their power and so split the bodies, condemning them to search for their other halves to make their souls whole, for they were nothing without each other.
You smoothed out the crinkled paper, eager to read more. As a big romantic, you always fancied the idea of having soul mates; a person who filled in that missing piece of your heart and soul. Together, you were unstoppable. Of course, considering the circumstances, romance came around last on ‘Humanity’s Top Priorities’ list
