Post Otakon 2014 Journal

I feel like I just HAVE to make a journal about this weekend, because it was just that wonderful. 

Prepare yourselves for a very detailed ramble about fun anime times. 

So first of all, I had sooooo much fun. The week leading up to the con was full of anxiety and excitement and I could hardly contain myself half of the time. 

I was supposed to go pick up my badge on Thursday, so glad I didn't. Half the people who lined up didn't get theirs, so it was great i didn't make the drive to Baltimore. 

But Friday I found myself commuting via MARC and Light Rail to the convention center. It was kinda nerve wracking because I didn;t see any fellow weaboos until I was finally on the light Rail. 

Once I was at the convention center I had to wait in a two hour line out in the hot sun while in like three layers of clothing...oTL
But it was worth it, because I made friends with a very adorable Marco and Jean, who were very nice and pleasant.

I found friends a while after getting my badge, and wandered around with them for a while until I broke off to eat my lunch. When I was done this girl came up to me and handed me a very cute note telling me how she liked my cosplay and she gave me her tumblr url as well. (I lost it as soon as I got home and I feel so bad about it.)

And then it was time for the Attack on Titan photoshoot. (-screams-)

I also had the best experience. I was talking to jaegerbombbasticass.tumblr.com… before the con, she told me she was going to be Eren with a Levi on Friday. I was talking to her without knowing it! Once we realized who each other was, we starting screaming and it was just a magical moment. 

Turns out she was actually going to be fem!Prussia on day two of Otakon, whilst I was fem!Austria. We took some cute photos which you can see here:

I also had a photoshoot in the same place earlier in the morning with MB Cosplay Photography. (The pictures come out in two weeks, I will post them here as well)

Other than taking pictures her Jade and Cheyenne, the best part of Saturday was getting out of the car in the morning and immediately being asked for a picture. Best way to start off the day. 

I went home early because I didn't feel very well, but woke up the next morning feeling fine, and after much debating, went into Baltimore again. 

This time I actually met up with and went running around the fountains taking pictures of her very cute seychelles cosplay. 

Starbucks, Marc train back to Bowie, and then browsing tumblr for photos of myself. (which i have yet to find oTL)
